Tennis For Beginners: Intro To Tennis

Want to learn tennis?

Have you always wanted to play tennis, but never had the time or opportunity? Well now you do! Our experienced coaches will show you the basic you need to know before you hit the courts. This is a six week program, starting with an introduction to tennis, moving through each one of the strokes every week.

Get a head start

Week 1: Basis intro, coordination drills, attire, coordination drills, tennis gear, basic drills

Week 2: Forehand and backhand grips, forehand and backhand technique

Week 3: Serves, Volleys, Overheads

Week 4: Slices and lobs

Week 5: Miscellaneous shots: drop shots, drop volleys, angles, returns...

Week 6: Point play, strategy, tactics

No Membership Required!

This program is specifically for people just starting tennis. No membership commitment is required. It's a great way to start off the right way so you don't have to unlearn bad habits later on. Tennis is TOUGH sport to learn but we make it fun in our small classes of people in the same situation as you.

Already taken this program?

After successful completion of this program you are then qualified to join the next level: "Intro to Tennis 2" program.

Class restarts every 6 weeks

Intro to Tennis:

  • Saturday 9:30am - 11:00am
